Use your Gmail box as a multimedia storage box – Xoopit Firefox addon
Today I discovered a great new Firefox addon called Xoopit. This addon enables you to arrange all your multimedia files in your Gmail inbox. Once you download this addon, a special toolbar is added to your gmail inbox and you can reach all your multimedia files in one click. There are three categories for sorting those files – videos, photos and files.
This addon is useful for those of us who use their inbox as a multimedia storage or sharing folder and for people like me, who need to organize their files. I heard that it has some problems with the combination of the Better Gmail 2 addon, but I haven’t had any difficulties yet.
Other cool things you can do using this addon – Quickly share multimedia files with your friends (through Facebook or your blog), search for images/videos and not for messages and easily view multimedia files that were sent to you as links.
