Britney Spears has recently started to open accounts in several social networks and sites (Facebook, MySpace, Youtube and more) in order to enlarge people’s exposure to her new hits. She probably hired a community manager which took care of ger virtual profile across the web. You can watch her Twitter account here.
On her Twitter account, you can read updated straight from Britney or one of her staff members. If you’ll follow after her, she’ll automatically start following you (well, it’s not REALLY Brit, but it’s close enough).
I think it’s interesting that artists start using Twitter and other social media sites to promote themselves, their music and everything they want their fans to know. It’s a very important step to the social media world.
