Why I started writing this blog
The inspiration for writing this blog, came from a very funny contest which took place in the SEO company I work for called Compucall Web Marketing. The competition was called “Clifinar” and the goal was actually to promote this word and bring it to the first place in Google.com. The term “clifinar” refers to web seminars in our company (we have this funny tradition in our company to call everything in weird names and in funny shortcuts:-)).
So this contest made me practice many SEO tactics and really understand what works and what doesn’t. Also, It made me realize how hard you have to work in order to be the first in the Google SERP’s. It’s hard especially when your competitors are trained SEO people!
Well, that gave me the idea to start writing my own blog. This blog will describe anything that I find interesting on the web. It is going to be a great expereince for me.
