A great SEOMOZ post I read today (posted by randfish) gave me the idea of writing this post. Since Google have launched their improved Adwords Keyword Tool (which means they added the traffic estimated volume for each keyword, per month) my SEO work became much easier. I’m aware to the fact that these are just rough estimations, but that is exactly what I was looking for – to understand (even roughly) if people are looking for a specific term, and if they do – then how much.
I have to say that I’m using this tool for SEO and not for PPC, and it gives me great (and surprising!) ideas to blog posts, articles and PR subjects.
What randfish in his SEOMOZ post suggested is simple but genius – he said that before submitting a new post to your blog, use a keyword research tool in order to check whether people are looking for the terms you used in this title.
So, to sum up, this tool can be used for much more than only Adwords campaigns optimization. I really recommend to use it because if people will not find you, most of the time it’s like you don’t really exist.
